left side. I have been using 50% gluten free bread. my medications seem to keep me in honest array. what does stout in the kidney indicate. im worried
Those are more vital indicators about the disorder of your kidney.
As for the “stout” in your kidney, it would mean that your kidney function has been compromised to an extent because the kidney tissue has been replaced by stout.
Diabetes is a huge risk factor for renal disease.
Dark urine is a terrible sign of active kidney problems, specifically acute renal failure.
Please see a doc really soon if not the ED.
Is it possible to go from a slightly fatter liver to Cirrhosis in 5 months?
Male 43 years
In reality, I really had only 10% liver function left and my liver was pretty much ruined with cirrhosis from an autoimmune conundrum. What a shocker! My only choice was to get a transplant if I wanted to stay alive.
I would cut out all alcohol use, stick to a low stout diet and see what happens after about 3 months. Get the blood work done again and see if there is any improvement. If there is no improvement, then a touch else could be going on that needs checked out.
Can Anyone Who Has Delt With Diverticulitis Answer This, Please?
Anyway I never had the fever, constipation and nausea and the horrible crampy pain is all but gone (except when I need to use the bathroom)….but my stomach still feels like I’ve been kicked by a mule(no abdominal tenderness if pressed down on, just using my stomach muscles to go about causing the sore feeling) and altho it’s let up in frequency I still have diarrhea (my doc said better that than the constipation, lol) He’s got me back on a regular diet and he also does NOT believe avoiding stuff like seeds, etc help one way or the other (I’m gonna for a excellent long while just to play it safe) but was vague on how long the soreness & diarrhea will last…
My symptoms started suddenly this past fri morn….within 2 hrs I was in the ER, after testing I was admitted and started on I.V anti-biotics & fluid, was told if there was no signif improvement by morning surgery might be called for-glad I superior ‘dramatically’…..so it’s now day four of my recovery, NOt counting the day it started….thank goodness most of the discomfort with meeting, walking, coughing & sneezing is gone…..
I reckon with me it must be hereditary…my mother, sister, and an uncle have this….I have eaten for the most part a low stout high fiber diet rich in veggies/fruit (even as a kid, thanx Mom!) & constipation has NEVER been a conundrum with me…ditto my Mom who has had several bouts of diverticulitis…..
Just wondering if anyone with a similar experiance can tell me when the diarrhea & abdominal soreness with them irrevocably left…Please, no web info as I have already researched and plagued my poor doc with 1,000 and one questions lol….and thanks for any answers
To the First Answer-what you says makes sense…I’ve also chose to go simple on the fiber until the ‘trots’ subsides…I’m on a 10 day course of two different anti-biotics so I hope at the end of day 10 I’ll be back to feeling better…dang but I like everything bagels! lol mourning their loss right now….ditto all seeds, popcorn, corn, and resigned to cutting the seeds outta cukes & tomatoes, too…..
Let me tell you, take care of yourself because you do not want this to happen to you. It has been the toughest thing I have ever been through. In Jump, I will have the reversal. Six months has never gone by so slowly!
Food: Doctors have also told me that seeds/nuts are not the cause. I am on a normal diet like you. But, I have learned that my body cannot by the book digest a number of things. Basically, I stay away from anything that is hard to digest, anything spicy, and anything deep fried. In all-purpose, I try to eat lean meats and vegetables and stay away from processed foods. The largest advice that I can give you is to drink LOTS of water. Your colon’s job is to absorb the water from your stool. Lacking enough water, you will become constipated, the pressure will increase in the colon, the pockets will become inflamed and you will get sick.
Diarrhea: This is a result of insufficient fiber, which many doctors believe is the real cause of diverticulitis. You must start to slowly increase your fiber intake. Remember, increasingly! Talk to your doctor about taking Metamucil or another supplement. You can also find foods that are high in fiber but it will be tougher to “measure” how much you are ingesting.
Irrevocably, if you feel like a bout of diverticulitis is coming on, immediately switch to a liquid diet (low fiber diet). Just lke in the sickbay, this will let your intestines rest.
This is a serious condition and you must be diligent in making excellent decisions regarding your diet. Lots of water, high fiber diet, and exercise!
