I would vote for Ron Paul if my vote would be counted. One huge difference between Paul and Baldwin is that Ron Paul has a 20 year record of resisting temptation from special interests and sticking to his principles. But, I reckon highly of Chuck Baldwin who was/is a strong supporter of Ron Paul’s and who wouldn’t even be running if Ron Paul still were.

If my vote in California won’t be counted for Ron Paul I plot to vote for Baldwin.

I read a book by a former Mormon woman many years ago, and that got me interested in researching the religion. It really is a creepy secret society, but I reckon most Mormon people shy away from the dark side of it and just want to be Mormon and walk with their God. That being said, Mr. Romney would do well not to discuss the intricacies of his religion publicly. The information is out there for anyone to read anyway, and people can make their own judgments about him, his religion, and his qualifications to serve as president.

Its been awhile but….

If Mary is normal and not a carrier then the genes she contributes are sickle cell free, so none of the children will have sca even if, if Mike is a carrier, then the children have a 50% chance of being carriers, too. If Mike really has sickle cell anemia, then 100% of the children will be carriers but none of them will have sca because their mother is normal.

Why?

You need the sc from both parents to exhibit the disease, otherwise, you’re just a carrier. If one parent is normal, there’s no way the child can be more than a carrier because, at most, only one of the parents (the other parent) will be passing on the sc gene.

If the other parent has sc, then both of that other parent’s genes have sc because, if it were only one gene, that parent would be just a carrier, right? Consequently all children have a 100% chance of getting an sc gene from an affected parent but only a 50% chance of getting the sc gene from a carrier parent (they have a 50-50 chance of getting either the carrier gene or the normal gene).

If Mary is a carrier, her genotype is AS (that is, she has the sickle cell trait), if Mike is normal and not a carrier, his genotype is AA. In each pregnancy, they have a 25% chance of having a child who is a carrier (with sickle cell trait , just like Mary) but none of their children will have the sickle cell disease.

If Karen is SS (1/3 chance) and Steve is Ss (2/3 chance) (= total 2/9 chance) then the children will be either SS (normal) or Ss (normal)

The same can happen with Steve being SS and Karen being Ss (2/9 chance)

If both are Ss (2/3 x 2/3 = 4/9) the the cross will be the same as for the parents (shown above) with 1/4 chance ss.

So the final chance of the child getting the disease is 1/4 multiplied by the chance of the Ss Ss cross which is 4/9. This equals 4/36 or 1/9

Sometimes snakes will pass up a meal if it isn’t hungry, especially babies. If you are feeding it cricks then just leave them in the cage, if your feeding it fuzzies maybe he was still full. When poop comes out it’s time for lunch. That’s how I do it, lol.

I watched your video and it appeared as though the heat lamps were directly in the center. They must be off to one side so your snakes can escape the heat. It nearly looked like the one on the left was trying to do just that, but I could be incorrect. Snakes won’t eat when they are too cold and they can refuse food if they are too hot as well on occasion. I didn’t have the sound on when I watched the video, so I may be missing some things. But I’ve never had an issue with babies feeding, even if some take a small longer to take their first meal.Try feeding them in their enclosure and if they won’t take a frozen/thawed fuzzy or hopper, try a live one just for that first time to get them eating. I’ll need to go back and watch it with the sound. Swisher is a cool name and tells me one of your favorite past times!

You could feed them any rodent really. Its best to feed them thawed out rodents so they don’t harm the snake. The reason why you don’t see more people feeding there snakes hamsters and gerbils is because of the price difference. Just make sure its not too huge and it must be fine.

dude its a snake they don’t care about variety, but ya sure u can its more money to feed them that my python ate a bird. it will be hard to find baby gerbils and stuff my adult python eats gerbils every now and then when there on sale and cheaper then rats.

Would any Republican candidate beside Ron Paul address the shortage and national debt?

This is unquestionably the largest threat to America, yet the other candidates haven’t been too specific about their cuts, and they surely haven’t projected ones as high as Ron Paul’s. I know things have to go through Congress, but it seems like the other candidates don’t care so much.

If Newt or Mitt were committed to balancing the budget, I would support them but I am still having distress…

Don’t forget that Newt Gingrich really place a balanced budget bill across Bill Clinton’s desk in 1998. So there are those you reckon aren’t addressing the budget issue, and those who have really done a touch about it.

Has this issue made it to television at all? I’m seriously asking, because I’m not much of a tv watcher.

My understanding is that he has until Dec. 1 to provide it to a judge and I do not know what happens if he doesn’t or why he hasn’t already done it.

Apparently neither of you watched it — if you reckon this address of his is loony than you must be FAR GONE from reality.

Basically what he’s saying is that every time budget cuts are projected more spending happens, and with the dollar crisis and the debt crisis the government continues to spend.

We can’t raise taxes because the people are broke, and he says that printing 2 trillion a year and borrowing money will eventually end.

He also made the point that the USSR collapsed due to a government they couldn’t afford — and the current Us government is a touch we can’t afford either.

Spending trillions a year when the government doesn’t have that money, policing the world when we don’t have that money, printing wealth out of thin air and borrowing billions from foreigners is surely the NON loony thing to do in this situation.

Dr. Paul is a very incredible personality. It is sad that he can’t breach the wall of the two party groups but that won’t stop me from voting for him if he runs. Dr. Paul is a honest handgun, common sense politician. I reckon that he is exactly what the perfect public servant must be, honest, thoughtful and very responsible.

I’m talking about the war in Iraq and government spending. The nation is taking a dive, and he seems to be the only candidate addressing this and offering solutions to what needs to be done to fix it. Why is he the only candidate that claims to want to end the war in Iraq and has the track record to prove it? The war was started on lies and is going nowhere. Is no one else seriously going to address these issues?

Because too many people are voting for Hillary, Obama, McCain, Romney, and Huckabee just because Fox News says so. There’s one thing that these people have in common to ruin the nation. To KEEP troops in Iraq. We are so damn bankrupt that WE as a nation are taxed to pay for it, and we have to borrow money from Plates. WAKE UP people… These candidates are to busy earning the hard core cash from corporations and lobbyists in order to keep the military manufacturing complex alive. Is it ok to give out sugar and spice favors for a baby shower that is for a boy and a girl?

The shower is for 2 sisters, one who had a girl and the other a boy. We were thinking of giving out these sugar and spice sugar bowls and wrapping them in blue and pink paper.. is that ok or are we still leaving out the boy that way?
Favors must be a touch your guests will delight in more than a touch related to the baby. Reckon how many baby showers women go to per year… if you kept the favors from every shower for every co-hand, cousin, friend, etc, you’d need a plates cabinet just to store the stuff.

Most people could use a sugar bowl. I reckon its a nice thought because its practical. While it may not relate to the boy baby at least your guests won’t throw it out as soon as they get home.

(And yes, I am the evil woman who throws out all of the custom printed ribbons, shot glasses, candle holders, etc, with names and dates on them. It is fantastic that you got married/had a kid/retired/etc, I’m very lucky for you, but I don’t have a knick ability closet to dedicate to the piles of favors people send home with me. I would use a sugar bowl though… maybe not for sugar, but for candies, keys, loose change, paper clips, whatever)

FYI- baby sugar gliders shouldn’t be lacking their mothers until they are 5 months ancient. They need 12 weeks in the pouch with their mothers, then 8 weeks MINIMUM out of the pouch. Please take this into consideration!

Please dont buy pets in future if you’re just going to dump them when your circumstances change. Also, if you ever choose to get sugar gliders again, please realise they are SOCIAL and they need other sugar gliders to company.
