Giuliani was an unpopular mayor of New York, a sleazeball who tried to move his girlfriend into the Mayor’s mansion while his then-wife still lived there! He was in the wrong place at the right time when 9/11 struck, and for that he’s some sort of hero? New York would have rallied around anyone who was mayor at the time; and frankly, that he made New Yorkers “feel better” is of no consequence to me.

Now, once again, he’s trotting around the country boosting the electoral chances of Republican candidates. He praises their passive acquiescence in the “War on Terror” while their overall records encompass other issues in undesireable ways. Like that boob Rick Santorum. He also raised money for Ralhp Reed, who was implicated in the Jack Abramoff corruption racket. Why doesn’t he just BUTT OUT?

Giuliani has been exploiting 9/11 long enough. It’s unseemly, and his glory is undeserved. Time for him to go away, forever.

Let’s face it: the Noles are only 7-5 and need to win the Music City Bowl to show the slightest improvement over last year’s 7-6 final record. Even if they end up 8-5 that could be attributed to the players maturing since they didn’t lose too many last year to the NFL. I think maturity could play a more significant role in gaining that one extra win. Has the firing of Jeff Bowden been justified? Has Fisher proven he should be the top man? Perhaps Fisher has provided more than I have witnessed and it’s been the defense that led the team down this year to 5 losses. Has the game passed Mickey Andrews by?
I have to confess – I bought into all the hype of coaching changes before the season and was really let down with the initial Clemson loss all the way to the whooping by the season ending Gator game. I’m not sure the program is heading in the right direction anymore but am hoping the recruiting can turn things around. Anyone have any thoughts on the job Rick Trickett has done?

I feel so lame for coming here, but my mind is so mixed up that I didn’t know what else to do.

Around a week ago, I broke off a 3 year relationship, it was the most difficult thing I have ever had to do.. It was just one of those situations where the only reason we stayed together after so long seemed to be more out of comfort, and the only thing we really had in common was the fact that we loved each other. Our lives were going in different directions and all we seemed to do anymore was fight about anything and nothing, conversations were minimal, and it seemed that all we did was sit in silence doing our own thing.. to the point where one of us would start an argument, because they were the easiest thing to do to fill the void and gain attention from each other.

Writing that down sounds horrible, we did have some fun sometimes, and we played and the few conversations we had that didn’t escalate into some sort of argument were beautiful.

But it came to the point where the pain from the fighting and everything else outweighed the good.. We sometimes spoke about how our relationship wasn’t the same anymore, but we just kept on trying to make it work, convincing ourselves that just like in the movies, love would conquer all…

And my heart, it broke more and more with every fight we had and any happiness we had in the past became more and more blurred. But we still couldn’t let go of each other. We tried breaks and counselling, but we only found our way back to each other eventually, only to go through the fighting and the pain again.

I finally somewhere, out of nothing, mustered the strength to end it, knowing that if we didn’t face facts soon, we would end up hating each other.. and hurting each other even more. It was a calm break up, we both cried like babies for hours, he kept begging me not too leave, but I stood my ground.

I know this is for the best, because we were making each other so unhappy.. and what hurt the most was that he didn’t have the time to think about why we had to say our goodbyes, I feel so guilty about taking that initiative.. I hate that I hurt him like that, even though I knew in time he’d understand.

We both still loved each other, maybe actually that’s what hurt the most..

I’m sorry this is so long-winded, I’m tangled up in word vomit at the moment..

He called me several times after I left, in the few days after, crying and begging, coming up with things like more couples counselling and all of that, and it was horrible having to tell him no, especially with how much he was trying..

Now only days after that, we kept our distance, but he called me to tell me that he was so happy, and to thank me for ending it.. because he realizes it was the right thing to do.. He started trying to have a normal friendly conversation, calling me ‘dude’ where he would usually call me ‘babe’ etc..

I know this is what I wanted, to be friends eventually, and for him to be okay and happy.. And I feel so selfish for saying this, but it just kills me so much that while I’m still crying every time I have some sort of random memory, he’s off being on top of the world somewhere.

I had to get off the phone to him, I told him I needed space and that I was sorry but wasn’t ready to be buddy-buddy with him yet..

It’s not like I want him to be in pain.. but I don’t know.. it feels like all the time we had spent together deserves some sort of acknowledgment more than just a few days of heartbreak.

I know I’m being so selfish, I kind of hate myself for that a little, I’ll also admit that I’m a little jealous that he seems to be not hurting anymore.. because this pain is the worst feeling since my Grandmother passed away, and I just don’t want that feeling inside me anymore..

But after that massive tangent / short story .. on top of my initial question.. how can I get there too.. does anyone have any advice as to how I can speed the pain process up? .. It might be a dumb question, and I’m sorry for being so hopeful that there might be some magical way to help me.. but tips, maybe?

I’m 14 years old and I weigh 107kg (16st 8 pounds) and because I live in the Uk i’m like always Seeing beauty and I was thinking about it today. I was even googling random things like “how to look beautiful” and “how to beautify yourself” or “how to loose your double chin” (because i’m overweight I have one AND HATE IT! ) And I wanna give myself the most biggest make-over like ever!

Okay so basically I want a whole new me so the things I wanna start with is…

1.Body hair, I have it on my legs (Like women normally do) on my thighs on my hips, back,belley,back of the neck,inbetween legs,on the bottom of my arms and the top,shoulders,cheeks,lips(Well on the skin of my lip and under the bottom of it too /:[ ) and many more places. Basically I want to be hair free I dont want to have to live with this anymore, I feel more like an animal instead of an actual human being. I,ve herd you can get it permanently removed but thats just so expensive, cause it just is so ridicusly too much money just to look good these days.

2. My spots! the opposite to attractive, they make me look so ugly and unattractive and such a put off. And they seriously need to go! So what can I do to get rid of them. I herd that apperently the Netrogena Wave works so I could try that. I also unfortunatly have back acne too and I have it between my legs on my chin and shoulders and other places too. And I still have no idea on how I am going to remove them spots or Zits or whatever Americans call them :S

3.My hair, Its frizzy,knotty,bushy,tangled,a mess like always, an afro, and basically I just want it straight and dyed a different colour. Im gonna have it light brown with blonde underneath althought I was also thinking of having it another colour like having black underneath and like a light brown chesnut-redish colour ontop. And most of all i want it straight atm i have blonde bits in my hair, like blonde streaks and stuff and they lasted me a long time cause I had it done ages ago and i got a dye which would work in any type of hair so if I am going to dye my hair again I have to make sure that I can get one which will work in any hair.
And most of all the hatred of most people these days is...My flab! My body fat, my put off when it comes to attractiveness.

I cant diet, i've tried it so many times before and I just can't. One minuet i'm motivated then next i'm like I can't be asked.
And I keep thinking about starving myself and I have no clue of what else I can do.
I also shove my fingers down my throat and try and throw up but it never works, after a few minuets I have done it i just feel my stomach hurting and the acid inside being weird and all funny.
I know that was stupid yes yes.
I'm even going to a child Obesity clinic but I still really just can't loose this weight and i'm afraid that my metobilsim (how ever you spell it) isnt working either.
I really want a boyfriend but no one wants a overweight, spotty, ugly, putoff girl like me especaially at this age when you are a teenager. Im in year 10 at school btw (grade 10). So I really need this makeover so badly please help I want the guys who saw me as invisible to notice that i'm actually here and I want them popular and hot boys swooning at my feet please help PLEASE! Personality- She is outgoing and confident. She lives on the coast of California and loves to go surfing. She has many friends and feels that nothing can stand in her way to live life like your supposed to- having fun! Unlike Girl #1, she has had many boyfriends, and has been hurt too many times.
