Do you think its a mistake for GOP candidates to mostly campaign in one state?
Question
Bachmann, Perry and Santorum are counting on Iowa. Huntsman`s counting on New Hampshire. Gingrich is counting on South Carolina. Throughout the whole season, The only candidates opening headquarters everywhere and moving around is Ron Paul and Romney. Do you think the rest of them really have a chance? I just find it hard to believe you can perform well in a state without a HQ`s.

Very few win both Iowa & New Hamphsire or those plus South Carolina. So, you do it strategically & try & win or do a really good showing in one state. Maybe win one & come in 2nd or 3rd in the other and do ok in the third to keep you going.

I agree.
Iowa is simply not that important during the primary season
Yes I think it is a mistake. Take your list of three in Iowa plus the two roaming there, there will be only one winner and the other two or three exclusive candidates will be trying to put lipstick on the pig and say it is no big deal. The other reason is that it isn’t a real contest. Iowa isn’t going to hear from Gingrich and Huntsman…come to think about it hardly anyone has heard from Huntsman. z
