How can you get restaurant managers to stop offering jobs as a hostess?What kind of style do u have to have?

clothes? hair? etc…why do they do this to someone with experience bar tending and as wait staff? Being a hostess is extremely mind numbing to some people and a complete waste of their skills which is extremely uncomfortable to some people. These are all places that DO NOT normally have wait staff start as hostess. How can this stop? What might an applicant be doing wrong? What kind of style or look might help?

be nice..but not to nice..then they’ll take advantage of yu while yur working. Make sure you say you can do what they tell you to..it may seem like a lot sometimes but with all the pressure yu’ll finish. Dress cute..unless they give you a uniform..my other job didnt so i put on a black skirt and cute shirt with heels.

recipe for Hostess-like shortcake?

I love the Hostess style of cakes used for Strawberry shortcake. It’s spongy and light and just right to go with berries. Yea, they are so cheap but I love making stuff homemade. Does anyone have a recipe for this style of cake.

I think they call this sponge cake, it’s like a cross between angel food and pound cake. Try searching recipe sites, if you like to bake I’m sure you could develope your own totally killer recipe.
If you really like to bake and cook, check out Boyajin citrus oils at boyajininc.com. They are a little expensive but you don’t use much and they are totally worth it and totally awsome, nothing else like them on the market. They are the ‘secret’ ingredient in many of the recipes I have developed over the last 10 years. When you do find your perfect sponge cake recipe, add a few drops of the Boyajin lemon oil and I guarantee it will be a super hit!

I think it was in the 80′s that this was a style. Remember those evening dresses/hostess gowns with 2 flaps in the front and 2 flaps in the back, and worn over pants? Did that dress/style have a name?
