Is the Mother’s Powerball the same as the Mother’s Powerball 4Paint?

Is the Mother’s Powerball the same as the Mother’s Powerball 4Paint? I have the red one. Is it ok to use it on my paint job? The red and yellow look like the same product.

The primary difference between the original Mothers PowerBall and the PowerBall 4Paint is that the original PowerBall has closed cell foam intended for polishing automotive surfaces.
The Mothers PowerBall 4Paint has open cell foam that is better able to absorb liquid polishes and waxes.
By holding the product within the foam’s pores, the Mothers PowerBall 4Paint releases products as needed to apply products neatly and evenly.
Plus, open cell foam is soft against delicate clear coat paint finishes.

Well it is just for the rims. I am just afraid that if I do it after I wash it, it will splash all of the polish onto the truck. I am only doing the rims. THANK YOU THOUGH!!

After you wash as you don’t want to grind the dirt into the paint or metal surfaces. Use a good quality carnuba wax on the painted surfaces and the aluminum polish for the wheels only.

You must wash the vehicle first to get off the surface dirt. If you don’t you may likely cause damage (scratches) by grinding dirt into the paint.

I use the mini and powermetal polish it does awesome,,,The big on is to bulky the mini does freat for rims and intakes……

The big one is not worth a nickle. I have one and it did work, but not well at all.
