It doesn’t matter whether the 16 year old consents or not, the fact it is against the law.

At 16 you most definitely don’t know what you are doing. Anybody who thinks you are at 16 is obviously that age…you just aren’t fully mature. He should get in trouble and if I were Lynn I’d be pressing charges.

Why would anybody want this. Mistakes happen and just because she is Brit’s sister doesn’t mean Lynne is a bad mother. Brit is just “girl gone wild.” Nobody knows what’s wrong with her. The boyfriend should not be charge, because it was neglect on the mother’s part. She allowed this to occur by letting her 16 year old to live with her 19 year old boyfriend. If anyone should be charge is the mother. I know there are cases here in Georgia that is similar to the Jamie Lynn Spears and the mother and/or father got charge with Child molestation because they knowingly allowed it to happen. The second part is that we do not know where they had sex was it in CA or LA. That makes a big difference as to if any charges are brought against anyone. This will bring the legal issue into the public eye.

My cousin dated a girl for 3 years he was 16 she was 14 when they started dating. they were still together when he turned 18 he joined the army and the girls mom got mad when he came home 2 years later he was arrested and spent a year in jail and is now tagged as a sex offender he can’t get a job because of it. Him and the girl who are now 22 and 24 have just had a baby girl last month. I guess my point is charge everyone or no one for the same “offense”.
