Can you believe the injustice of this rape case in Texas? Is this for real?

Question
From Change.org

“In the fall of 2008, a Texas high school cheerleader (known as H.S. in court documents to protect her identity) was locked in a room and raped by a fellow student at a house party.
Fast forward to February of 2009: H.S. is trying to resume her old life as a cheerleader. She’s cheering at a school basketball game, but her attacker, Rakheem Bolton, is on the team — he’s shooting free throws. And a circle of administrators is telling H.S. that if she doesn’t cheer for him by name, she can’t be a cheerleader anymore.
H.S. refused. She was kicked off the cheerleading squad, berated and publicly humiliated by school officials, including Silsbee District Superintendent Richard Bain.
H.S. and her family fought back — eventually suing the school to reverse their decision, arguing that it violated H.S.’s right to free speech by booting her for a symbolic gesture. And H.S.’s story ignited a national outcry, covered on ABC and in Sports Illustrated.
But the court said that her school had the right to remove her. And to add insult to injury, the judge ordered that H.S.’s family pay her school’s legal fees — more than $ 35,000.
Now school officials have a choice: They can further punish H.S.’s courageous stand by accepting the money and causing financial hardship for her family. Or they can refuse to do so.”

Fast rewind: “In the fall of 2008, a Texas high school cheerleader (known as H.S. in court documents to protect her identity) was locked in a room and raped by a fellow student at a house party. ”

So she never reported this alleged rape to the authorities?

Answered by The First Dragon
Yes, Open Sauce, she did report it. The police found her sobbing in the room the rapist had just left via the window. Leaving his clothes behind.

What ever happened to the good old days, when a dad could have hunted the rapist down and killed him.

Yes, the way we do things now are soooo much more civilized. Unjust, unfair, and corrupt, but civilized.

We need to go back to vigilante justice.

Question about Christie brinkley?!!?

Question
Question about Christie Brinkley?!!?
According to her courtroom testimony, what led Cristie Brinkley to infer that her husband was having an affair with a teenager? (only given this paragraph) any inferences welcome!!
======================================…
CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. – Christie Brinkley testified at her divorce trial Thursday that the day she learned her husband was having an affair with a teenager was the day “my life as I knew it had vanished.”

The former Sports Illustrated model took the stand in state Supreme Court, a day after testimony by her architect-husband, Peter Cook, and his former mistress.

Brian Platt, a police officer and the stepfather of the 18-year-old, informed Brinkley of the affair at a 2006 graduation at Southampton High School where the model was a speaker.

He tapped her on the shoulder, she tearfully recalled, and said, “That husband of yours won’t knock it off. He’s having an affair with my teenage daughter.”

Brinkley said she looked at Cook, sitting in the front row, and when he shook his head in denial, she thought: “My God, it’s true. He did do that.”

“That was also the day that my world was completely shattered,” said Brinkley.

Based strictly on this paragraph, Brinkley inferred that her husband was having an affair because of the way he shook his head in denial when she looked at him.

Question
On yahoo sports
I mean when i read this dude’s article for the first time, It was about Kobe and Lebron.
He mentioned that (this was something i didn’t like and from then on i didn’t like him) Lebron was a “guy’s”guy and that Kobe “just doesn’t have it”. I mean, do u know these players outside the court?Just because u think that Lebron is a “guys guy” and Kobe “just doesnt have it” when there out on the court, (ex. James does his pregame rituals and gets the crowd excited, while Kobe doesn’t do nothing) does it mean thats who they really are outside the court?

Idk but it could be opposite of what he wrote about LB and KB.

Also when Lebron threw the tantrum, he quickly turned on him and wrote how he didnt shale their hands, and went on to write all the Legends like Bird, Magic,Russel,Jordan, even Kobe(******* hilarious! now hes on his side), and other greats, just to single out Lebron. He’s human, and i guarrantee he wont do that again. so he really tried to make Lebron look horrible by naming the Legends sportmanship.

And on shaq.Lol.He’s right but again tried to make him look horrible. Idk, but he picked on the right person to make him look better.Shaq is still mad (Idk if any real basketball fans remember this)when Suns and Magic played when Howard shoved him hard and he fell and looked for the foul,, then Van Gundy in the postgame said he was a flopper and that this was a man’s game etc. and thats why he’s calling out Howard and the Magic like this.

I just think AW(abbreviated) is mad that he didn’t get a deal with Sports Illustrated,Espn,Nba tv, etc. and now he’s stuck with Yahoo sports.LMAO!!!!!! No but really he’s inaccurate and really stains players, exaggerates.
What u think on the first topic (kobe and lebron on the guys guy)
Second (lebron is the worst player wit the worst sportsmanship, naming the Legends)
Third on Shaq and also about his exaggerations( for those who ever read his articles on yahoo sports) Im trying to keep evrything clean and staying out of the negative stuff i really want to say about his articles and him
Give feedback and answer if u like… Star if u agree wit me on AW
Not really, idk if people even go to yahoo sports, ha

Just because the slapper says she was raped doesn’t mean she was raped. If the guy is still playing then obviously the case wasn’t persued.

If he were found guilty of rape, he’d be in prison. The very fact that he ISN”T in prison shows the girls story holds no water.

The guy should sue the girl, her family and supporters for defamation of character.
