They destroyed at least 4 cars per episode. The actual cars that were destroyed were various models of the 1969 Charger and had various engine packages.

Once you know what you’re talking about, pick a news angle, for example as if the assassination just happened yesterday or something. Go through the who, what, when, where and why putting the most important information to readers closer to the beginning and make sure to use short paragraphs (3 – 4 sentances max.) like the ones you would see in a newspaper like the new york times or washington post.
And of course, use the words you’ve been assigned while explaining the who, what, when, where and why and make up a few quotes from the pretend people you interviewed: government officials, bystanders, family if appropriate, or anyone else that surrounded the duke that would be availible for comment.

1. There was no 67 Challenger, the Challenger didn’t come out until 1970.
2. The close up car was a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T with a 440 Magnum, not a 426 hemi.
3. They wrecked over 400 cars total making that series. Not all were 1969s, and most were not even R/Ts. Most were 318 powered cars, all years 68-70. If they were a 68 or 70, they modified it to look like a 69.
4. Very early in the series Daisy had a 71 Challenger, yellow, before her Jeep CJ.
