I remember when my dad took me and my untidy brother to see the movie The Perfect Storm(that was a very very very long time ago) when I was little,I remember feeling pity for the men who were out in the middle of nowhere with little food and water,I also remember saying to myself why would anyone go out in the middle of nowhere just to go out fishing.but it is a very good movie,and if you have a HD TV then it would be a great movie to watch,
the movie reminds me of the movie Poseidon and Titanic.

2000 was a very very very long time ago? Wow. It reminded me of Moby Dick, lol. And people go out in the middle of nowhere to go fishing because thats how they make their living and thats where they get the big catches.

Its one of my all time fav movies and i just recently finished the book for the first time..now, does anyone that’s seen the movie and read the book as well agree with me that the book is almost entirely different than the movie? there are very few parts of the book that are involved in the movie. Feedback anyone? I was a little disappointed….

oh i agree,,i wouldn’t go out to sea when they know a storm is coming,some people just ain’t scared of nothing,it was a great movie but i cried at the end,,that’s was sad,,i loved. that movie,,….
It’s a true story and when I saw the real families of the real men who died at the movie premiere I cried.
