Question
First of all, I don’t see anything wrong with calling it Obamacare. I call it that with pride. Great leadership is about looking at the long term. It’s about doing what is correct for America even though it might cost you your job.

Obamacare is all of that.

Harry Truman is like Obamacare. He was not very popular to Americans while he was president. But now Americans remember him fondly.

On the right you have people whining about Obamacare because they love to whine. On the left you have folks whining because they feel it’s not strong enough.

And you have some woman given too much air time by the corporate media because she says she’s tired of defending President Obama.

I will never tire of defending President Obama. I relish the fight in fact. I take pride in it.

Obama is the president of the United States, not the Netherlands or Canada or Denmark. America is not a liberal country.

Regarding the future of Obamacare, 63% of Massachusetts residents now support Romneycare which is the same as Obamacare despite Romney’s politically motivated protestations to the contrary.

During the latest GOP debate, Romney tried to separate Romneycare from Obamacare by saying that Romneycare did not cut Medicare.

But he forgot to mention that the US House of Representatives voted in favor of the Medicare cuts that are included in Obamacare.

Other good news regarding Obamacare includes the American Medical Association again voting to endorse the individual mandate for health insurance.

The Congressional Budget Office continues to assert that Obamacare should cut the deficit. The CBO also asserts that Obamacare should lower premium inflation.

Some GOP governors even want to participate in the Obamacare health exchanges.

Imagine that!

As the song says: “Imagine…”

  1. Terran says:

I will never support fascist Obamacare. Any law telling people what they can and can not do is evil and the work of tyrants. Obamacare tells people that they have to buy health insurance or pay heavy penalties (not taxes, they’re penalties). Therefore Obamacare is evil and the work of tyrants.

Edit: Something else for you to think about. So far every Republican appointed judge has ruled Obamacare unconstitutional and every Democrat appointed judge has ruled the opposite. The Supreme Court has 5 Republican appointees and 4 Democrat appointees. It’s not looking good for your fascist law.

It gives too much power to a government a don’t trust.
