Larry Bird’s not white. He’s Clear.

Spot on comparison by Larry Legend about King James.

Answered by Big Chippy
I agree bcuz Lebron can play any position on the floor: he gets the blocks, the points, the rebounds, the assist he has all around game as did Magic Johnson. The only difference is magic was a point gaurd.
Answered by Eddie
what as interesting about that interview was that he says Lebron when it is all over with might be better than all of us.

I am not saying that is so but this is the second legend that said Lebron has the potential to be the best ever.

Jerry West said it in an interview last year.

Answered by Jerycs
Maybe with the same fire and will, yes. But not with the same styles. LBJ’s just fond of forcing it down the middle and whether you like it or not he’ll score. That’s raw power there. Not that Magic and Bird wouldn’t force their will on the hardcourt, they’re better as team players compared to lebron and Magic and Bird play differently.

Lebron is a powerful player, Magic and Larry are slick players in my eyes

Will the NHL ever get Rid of Gary Bettman?

Question
I have heard rumblings that the NHL will indeed add a new commisioner. They have interviewed Larry Bird, Michael Jackson and Puxatony Phil for the job. Who do you think will replace this shaky NBA lover. And will the replacement remove goalies from the game to increase scoring?
Answered by Robsdaddy
Watch out…your tongue is showing through your cheek. The majority of teams are now profitable, and arenas are as full as they’ve ever been. That’s what the owners care about, and so they see no reason to jetison Bettman and his ears.

I’m not a big Bettman fan, but I give him credit for sticking it to the NHLPA in the CBA negotiations. He kept the owners’ solidarity together, and looking back, it strengthened the league.

Now if only the games were on TV…oh yeah, they’re on VS, and 3 people are watching them.

Answered by Joe B Du komma ofta?
I think I heard grumblings that they are bringing in soccer nets to replace the old ones.

Is it true when Commisioner Punxatawny Phil sees his shadow that means the Leafs wont get in the finals again?Well maybe next year.

Answered by Catherine: 17 Days to Tokyo!
Let me know when they do so I can go watch the finals being played in frozen-over h-e-double hockey sticks! I would love a hockey-oriented person with a head for business to come in and take over, but do you really think Buttman’s gonna go down without a fight? He’ll expand to Puerto Rico, make a deal to air all the games on the Food Network, and laugh at us all while he’s doing it.
Answered by sgoldperson
I say pick up Phil, sure I’m biased being from PA, but he is probably the best one out of the group and may be an improvement. Seriously though they aren’t getting rid of Bettman because the NHL is a business and as far as the owners are concerned Business is good.

People who think Dirk isn’t close to the same class as Bird?

Question
“He’s had a great run [in these playoffs], but I’ve always been very impressed with him,” Bird said in a phone interview, “His work ethic, his loyalty to his country. It’s really an honor for me to have people compare us.” -Larry Bird on Dirk Nowitzki
Answered by .
Shooting-wise- yeah.
Defensively- no.
Answered by Brett Favre ~Palin/Cain 2012~
I would say Dirk isnt up there yet. He doesn’t have a ring yet, and even if he gets 1 this year, it’s only 1. He can shoot amazing, and he’s a legend, but will never surpass Bird but he could possibly be close.
Answered by King
because he does not have any rings.

Larry Bird said Kobe is the best on April 30, 2008

time. He also stated that he is very surprised that Kobe has not won MVP so far and that after all Kobe has done, if he doesn’t end up winning one than he might as well throw

“The best player in the league came out and just took over,” Martin said. “He got his team going.”

    This is from http://www.insidehoops.com

InsideHoops.com: Other than yourself and any of your teammates, who are the official Dirk Nowitzki candidates for the league MVP?

Dirk Nowitzki: That’s tough. LeBron certainly has a case in the East. On the Celtics, KG has had a great year. And in the West, to me it’s been Kobe, the way he’s been

scoring, really setting the tone every night for his team, and to me he’s the best player in the league anyway, scoring-wise and all-around player. I’d probably give it to Kobe.

    Those three definitely deserve it.

Derek Fisher said Kobe is the best

“He’s had a great impact on our team from an emotional and a chemistry aspect,” Fisher said. “He continues to get more comfortable leading the team. I think he’s made the

transition from being the best individual player in the league to still the best player in the game and one of the best to play with.”

“I thought we did as good of a job as we could defensively on him and he’s my vote for MVP. He’s the best of the best and deserves the award more than, I think, anybody else and

I hope he gets it. He’s a marvelous player, makes everybody else better. There isn’t anything that he doesn’t do. He’s a pretty sensational player, I have enjoyed watching him

all these years and I have enjoyed coaching him in one All-Star game when he got MVP.”

My oh my! What a compliment coming from the Celtic legend himself… Isn’t it obvious now that Kobe rules the NBA in this era? Speak no evil, hear no evil, see no evil… enjoy what has been said and never think ill of anyone…

  4. samdesign78 says:

SO? kobe get alot more praise and confirmation than Lebron…The greatest basketball player on earth today..and so on…… Why KOBE will always be better than today Lebron TODAY/NOW,because kobe always bring back the game by shooting and so there is so much Appreciation when he hit the buzzer beater again and again(recently memphis/3 x 3pt),but Lebron always bring back the game by driving to the lane(Only game wiinner shot i remenber is agaisnt Magic game2)..I’m NOT SAYING WHO’s Better(as wining game is more important, regardless how u win) ,but thats why Kobe always get the upper hand in voting/disscusion…

(But i always hate Lebron for getting all the spotlight, since the day he step in NBA(as he cant shoot 2pt/3pt)..BUT i started praising him last season.as his shooting has increased significantly ,especially in 2pt/3pt this season,he started to earn my respect as a hardworking player and i believe he will become a GREAT PLAYER in the near future)

On the whole,in my opinion…To be the Greatest Player is to let the World acknowledge that when the game is on the line ,who U want the ball in his hands…NBA recently poll voting-Kobe get 3times voting than lebron…

Lastly,i admit i’m a Lakers/Kobe fans…But i watch Cavs’lebron/ShaQ/Varejao game too and Enjoy the Cavs dominant defence and a few month ago ,i predict that the CAvs will be the 2010 CHAMPs,but i still Hope that Lakers will WiN!!…. after hearing that shaq is out for 8week,my Lakers chance is getting higher…Cheers!!

To Conclude(show that i watch Cavs game)..i found that Cavs’Lebron has a siginificant error in decision making when game is on the line,he tend to throw up alot of 3pt when leading(confident get the better of him) and there’s a saying in NBA..U lived by 3pt..U die by 3pt..This mistake will let opponent team get back to the game when in playoffs..Lets wait n See!!

    Jus my own opinion…ThkQ!sam.
