There is a great song that plays during the preview commercial for NBC’s new show called Southland. I am dying to know who the artist is and what the name of the song is. The show hasn’t started yet, and I am not finding any info on other searches.

In the SouthLAnd TV show opening, there are about six or seven old LAPD photos. Does anyone know exactly what they are and when they were taken. It appears that the age of the photos go anywhere from the 1920′s until present day.

Okay along time ago I heard season 2 will be premiering this friday, but then I look and it’s not. Than I hear nbc (or whatever channel) has cancelled the show. Is all this true and if/when does season 2 start?

They did cancel it. They renewed it at first and made new episodes but then NBC decided to cancel it. I guess TNT is in talks to pick it up but that may or may not happen.

The show has been canceled. =/ But the officials of the show are trying to push the show onto ABC. So there’s still some hope.
How accurate is the TV show SouthLAnd in portraying an actual police officers life?

I know it’s not perfect cause that’s not a cool storyline, but like the stuff they go through and such does that seem real? I know it’s actors but seems realistic to me so I was wondering what you thought and any real cops answering would be good.

I don’t about this TV show but in potraying acutal police officers life nothing beats The Simpsons’ Chief Wiggum.
