What’s so “bad” about Mark Wahlberg?

I’m 13 and really like him,I don’t like have a crush on him, though he is good looking, but I just admire him. I like Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch because it’s so funny seeing him then and now. My parents are cool with the fact that I admire him but sometimes my dad says like “he isn’t that great” and “there are some “bad” things about him that you don’t know”. Does he mean like boogie nights and fear? Like, I already know and it’s just acting so whats the big deal? And I know about his childhood and my dad knows that. So besides the rapping, underwear modeling, going to jail, drugs, and a few bad movies, is there anything else? Like, what is so “bad”? and my dad says that yes, he is a completely different person now but I just don’t get it.

Mark Wahlberg is not a racist
I have heard that and I saw the video of him talking about Adam Landberg. But I think he was kidding. At least I hope he was. But anyway I’m pretty sure he regrets his previous comments and assaults. He seems cool nowadays, I mean kids pull that kind of crap all the time.

Well, considering he starred in Four Brothers with Andre 3000 (an African-American rapper), I doubt it, b/c people get into fights, and if you considered every fight involving two or more races hate crimes, I think a lot of people would be in jail. In short, no, he is not racist. And also, dont believe everything you hear or read.

    Secondly, he worked with black people. Both actors & hip-hop artist, so no.
