When Jan Brewer loses her lawsuit, will she say, “Aw, rats!” – or will she say, “Aw, unicorns!”?

Question
Rats are behind the wall win or lose.
Arizona and Brewer are about to learn the first rule on the farm: “Mess with the bull – and get the horn.”
Answered by Conservative not Republican
Well considering she is most likely going to win I would say neither. I think she may be saying adios amigo.

Your opinion In her own words: Gov. Jan Brewer on Mexico joining lawsuit against Arizona’s SB 1070?

Question
I am very disappointed that the national government of our neighbors and friends to the south has chosen to file a brief in federal court that distorts the truth about Arizona and the United States.

Despite false assertions and factual inaccuracies expressed by the country of Mexico in their recent brief filed in U.S. federal court, Arizona’s immigration enforcement laws are both reasonable and….

…constitutional. They mirror what has been federal law in the United States for many decades, and they have built-in and clear protections for civil rights.
The United States was formed as a nation of laws, and not of men. Arizonans are some of the most hospitable and generous people in the world, and we welcome visitors to share our incomparable natural beauty.

Our cultures and our trade are intertwined, and so must be our respect for the rule of law.

We refuse to accept that the United States government is unable to protect its citizens against a relentless and daily barrage of narco-terrorist drug and human smugglers. We will enforce, respect, and defend the laws of our land, including our laws that prosecute discrimination. We have taken additional steps to update training for our officers to legally enforce our new laws and to specifically prevent illegal racial profiling.

I will continue to fight tirelessly to protect the citizens of Arizona, and to defend Arizonans in federal court. I believe that Arizona will ultimately prevail and that our laws will be found constitutional.

Blah blah blah.

“Arizonans are some of the most hospitable and generous people in the world.” And “specifically prevent illegal racial profiling.”

That’s why they passed a law forbidding ethnic studies in schools, and not allowing teachers to have accents.

She sounds quite reasonable to me, and she is absolutely right.

The other thought is that Mexico needs to butt out of our internal affairs. They have no right to so much as an opinion.

Answered by VIVA USA
Brewer can say all she wants about non Racial Profiling but it simply is not true.
As for the country of Mexico joining in on the law suit. Good. Thank you Mexico.
NO 1070

I oppose 1070 because it is discriminatory toward Mexican Americans. It is un American, Un constitutional, and Un Christian.

Why Is Jan Brewer Asking For Donations To Help Her Fight The Justice’s Dept. Lawsuit Against Her?

Question
Answered by Liddel
Perhaps she should counter sue the federal government for not doing their job. It should be easy to prove that the feds not ignorance of the law causes hardship to the people of Arizona.

Answered by Mr. Sarcasm
Maybe because she doesn’t have a 877 billion dollar “stimulus” package at her disposal.
Answered by Facts Enrage Dembots
That isn’t exactly correct… yes, she did unveil a website for donations, but to help fight for the States defense against the ridiculous law suit… it’s not a suit against her personally, but against AZ State law…

Answered by darrin b
Because she’s hoping that those who are angry over the immigration issue in this country will help Arizona to finance its defense against the lawsuit.

She’s taking a page out of Sarah Palin’s book.

Just like Sarah Palin has found a way to get rich off those who never got over the fact that Barack Obama won the Presidency fair and square, Jan Brewer is hoping to get cash for Arizona from many of those same individuals.

Ethnic studys are allowed in Arizona, the new law says the teachers must be qualified (know how to speak English) and will not teach the over throw of the US. The Raza classes in Tucson were taught by unqualified racists teaching hate and served as a recruiting tool for La Raza terrorists and Reconquitas. They should all be in prison.

This is a States Right Issue. The states certainly have the right to protect themselves when the federal government fails to do so.

A brief filed by a deceptive foreign government has little weight in a U. S. courtroom.

Mexico should clean up its squalid, drug infested, crime ridden, bribe controlled society before sticking it nose in its neighbors business.
