Would anyone between 13-18 be interested in subscribing to a blog about personal issues, school, tutoring, etc?

Question
I have created a blog for young adults between the ages of 13-18. My site is not fancy-schmancy, however it is very useful. All of the resources that you need are readily accessible. My blog is structured around 5 building blocks (P.E.A.R.L):

*Pursuit of Happiness
*Education & Employment
*Advancement
*Relationship Advice
*Life Issues

Here, you will be able to get tutoring in all of your high school classes. You’ll learn how to fill out a FAFSA (financial aid application)… you’ll learn about the top colleges and universities in the nation, the importance of volunteering, why your boyfriend/girlfriend still hasn’t called you back, learn if you’re compatible with each other, what sorority you should join…

The list goes on and on. I was once in your shoes and could only wish that there was a site like this for me to utilize. Again, I’m only curious to know how many people think this is a good idea and would actually subscribe.

Comments/Feedback/Constructive Criticism Welcomed!

Thx

You need to fill out the FAFSA for non-need based merit aid?

Question
Read this in a blog in college confidential.

I TRULY don’t understand why a college needs to see how much you make to give you a non-need based scholarship or merit award.
See my point?
If you scored a 32 on an ACT and took all AP classes.
Your income should have nothing to do with merit based scholarships.
Please explain.
Parents and I are refusing to waste time in filling out the FAFSA.
We don’t want loans – not one red cent
And we won’t qualify for need based grants due to the fact we have so much saved up – more than enough.

Answered by just not that
I’m sorry, what was the question?
Answered by Donald B
If you are asking someone for a scholarship you have to fill out the forms they require no matter how unimportant they seem to you. As you are probably aware, there are very few scholarships based on merit. Some families who do not qualify for need based aid, still have a difficult time paying for college. They want to know if you are one of those families. If you have saved up more than enough you probably will be disqualified on the basis of lack of need. You can refuse to fill them out and they can refuse your scholarship.
