I thought the other day, that the revelation from Ricky Martin saying that he is gay goes accord to his “new” album success. Definitely this influenced the people to pay attention to him, in a good or bad way, both are good for selling disks.
But, does anyone have really seen actual proves besides being around a guy in a beach and listening saying that he is a “fortunate homosexual man”?
Recall a movie from adam sandler, they cheated the authorities by saying that they were gay. Everybody believe it, but in the face of the truth they collapsed.
So again, does anybody have seen him kissing, holding hands, making caresses to his partner?
Because the only proof that he is gay, is what people around said.
Think on this, a little boy with his father one day declared child abuse from Michael Jackson. That destroyed momentarily the career of Michael. According to you, just by hearing the statement of this child, I must believe it. Later on, the declare it was an strategy to get money from Michael.

That’s why I mention, this gay declaration came out within the album release, after several years on being absent from sales and popularity suddenly boom!!!, 1st pages on tv shows, disks, concerts, everyone wants to interview in, everyone wants to make duets with him. That’s a really good advertising campaign.
