Why is ESPN kissing the Giants butt after saying how great and wonderful the Patriots were?
Question
Answered by Jarritoco
umm because they won..
Answered by hawkeye316
They have to report who won, regardless of who they thought would win.

They’re posers! ESPN is the biggest joke in sports coverage. Hollywood Access(sports edition).

Talk about a 180-degree flip-flop… ESPN was biased toward the Patriots all season…

Women: How would you feel about kissing a man with a giant beard?
Question
I know you secretly love my beard.
How much more of Patriots butt kissing will we see from ESPN as the season goes along?
Question
Please, Patriots are no way better than the Giants. Patriots are over rated and over hyped because of Brady’s return this year. Number 2 spot belongs to the Giants.
The only team that is better respectably than the Giants is the Steelers. They are the superbowl champs.

Yeah, I think the Patriots are one of the leagues elite but the way people talk about how unbeatable they are is getting a little annoying. I think there’s plenty of teams that one could argue are better than the Patriots.

ESPN’s lips will alternate between the Pats* butt and Tebow’s butt.
Answered by Coach McGuirk
You’re going to hear a lot more about the Patriots as they continue to win week in and week out. With Tedy Bruschi on NFL Live, you know they’ll get that much more love.

Because the headquarters for ESPN (Bristol, CT) is near Boston? just a wild guess..

i agree with u dude ! especially that freaking bradshaw guy who picked the pats to win! and those stupid NFL analyst who were all except for coach ditka against the giants in the playoffs and now that where champs their kissing ass.
uh cuz dey won?duh
bandwagons and can kiss my big black ass cuz their busts’.
how the hell do you go 18-0 with one more game and lose to a wild card team (I AM A GIANTS FAN OF COURSE). They choked.
ny stand up!!!
I don’t like how they make them seem unbeatable either because then they feel like they have to live up to it. Every team wins some and loses some it’s just the way it goes but it seems to baffle people when the Pats do lose, it’s like they can’t win every week doesn’t mean they suck now or something to worry about just means they are going to learn from what happen and work out the kinks for the next game.
Giants do look pretty scary this year, I will be looking forward to seeing this Sundays game- Go Cowboys!!!
The Pats are better than the Giants, there are several teams that are better than the giants. Pats and Steelers will probably meet in the AFC Championship and like every other time the Pats meet the steelers in the playoffs Brady will whore them for 300+ yards and the Pats will win by at least 10.
The Steelers are horrible. They will lose at Chicago and at Cincinnati. They have no running game and leave all the opponents wide receievers wide open. they will go 8-8 at best. Ravens win the North.
The Giants are second, second in the NFC East after the Eagles and Cowboys. whoops, I guess that’s third.
They did lay it on pretty thick. As a Pats fan I think this years team is a little over rated. The AFC East is going to be a tough division to win.
As long as Brady is the QB, BSPN will always kiss a55. It makes sense because ESPN was founded in Connecticut and thats NE country. They also kiss a55 for the Giants and the Jets because those are New York teams and thats where all the money is. I’m glad they finally sent a crew out to LA so the west coast can get some love too. The NFL is Americas sport, so they should cover every team equally.
I think the Patriots AND the Giants are both overrated, but ESPN is getting on my nerves with the whole Brady is back thing.
man there riding his Nuts. espn been losing credit now there nothing but a bunch of homers now calling out players coach there just a joke now
one more week of butt kissing. then the jets r gonna shut them up when they come to the meadowlands
I hear ya. I am certain that the guys in the booth were watching a different game than I was last night. They kept going on and on about how good the Pats looked and hwo bad the Bills looked.
At one point, one of them (I think it was Jaws) commented that the Pats were dominating the game and pointed to the time of possession as a metric for this alleged supremacy.
At that point in the game, the Pats had owned the ball for twice the amount of time that the Bills had owned it. But, since the Bills were WINNING at that point, I found the comment utterly retarded. I read the time of possession and scoreboard as a statement that the Patriots were grinding away and getting nowhere.
As long as they keep winning
