Why is it that the CPAC matters now, more than ever to America?

Question
Answered by Imitated, But NEVER Duplicated
It doesn’t. How did you get so misinformed?
Answered by cancun1313
If it says incumbent, vote them out.
Answered by Andy
Because both parties are at the breaking point and if CPAC can recreate a conservative base it will help the GOP.
Answered by Billy Blaze
Because it reminds us that people get more stupid and more crazy with every passing minute. It reminds us of the insanity and misinformation that we have to fight if we don’t want our country to fail.

Is there any doubt CPAC is a fringe group?

Question
The latest Gallop tracking poll has Obama back up to 68% job approval. The straw poll at CPAC registered a 4% approval. Is CPAC now officially an American fringe group?
Piggycrat’s, thanks for a great analogy. Yes, I would put MoveOn in the same category as CPAC. Fringe group.
Answered by Piggycrat
Fringe. Like MoveOn.Org. How come they can have politicians jump up and down. Take out ads that call a General,Betrayus. And you have no problem with them.
Answered by Quirk
If by “fringe’ you mean “the ragged bits of fabric dangling uselessly off the soiled crotch region of the G-string of political discourse” then yes. Yes indeed.
Answered by Carol A
At this point, the minority party of no has no evident fan club.
Answered by dlk
Most here no doubt have no idea what CPAC even is.

Does CPAC embracing openly homosexuals like Andrew Breitbart signal a change in America?

Question
So, we have an organization CPAC, where Dick Cheney gets booed, and openly homosexuals, are a major part of this right wing old guard organization.
Since many republicans now support gay marriage/ equal rights for all (especially republicans under the age of 40), does this signal a shift in America? By the way, Maryland is going to legalize gay marriage very soon, which will make the 9th state. California is very close, and will be the 10th state.
Answered by bobemac
Why do “gays” think they’re so friggin special…
Answered by john
Change on the subject of gay marriage is coming in America, but the inclusion of gay Republicans at CPAC is just the GOP going after votes, not a real sign of acceptance.

Republicans, CPAC is prepping for the 2012 election. Who is your favorite as of right now?

Question
These are the most potential candidates:

Sarah Palin,
Mike Huckabee
Mitt Romney,
Tim Polenty
Bobby Jindal
Mark Sandford
Charlie Chris

Palin’s done and Huckabee is too weird.

We just have to get through the next four years and hope Obama doesn’t destroy this country or do too much damage.
